Our Social Activities
- On a monthly basis, our members participate in support of soup kitchen activities under the auspices of Vedanta Society of Toronto– a Registered Charity (Charity Registration # 13607 0828 RR0001). Participation is rotated among interested volunteers. Food prepared is distributed to the needy who use the services of Syme Woolner Neighbourhood and Family Centre- Drop in programs.
- We conduct Food Donations Collection Drive from time to time. The last one was in June 2018 on the sidelines of Paramacharya’s Annual Jayanti celebrations. About 200 lbs. of food items were collected during this event and donated to Mississauga Food Bank– (Charitable Registration # 11892 7011 RR0001)
