With the blessings of HH Sri Vijayendra Saraswati Swamigal (Periyava), we celebrated the Jayanti of Bhagavadpadal- Sri Adi Sankara with proper religious prayers on Sunday April 26, 2020 morning.
In the evening, in an online gathering of about 80 to 90 people, we chanted several prayers based on the works of Sri Adi Sankara. Here is an audio file of the evening prayers.

Anusham Pooja and HH Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal Jayanti Celebrations

Anusham Pooja was conducted on Sunday August 11 starting at 10.30 am at Radha and Vijay’s residence at 1319 Prestonwood Crescent, Mississauga, ON L5V2Y9.
It was a doubly special celebration with additional special prayers including paduka abishekam and pooja to HH Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal . KKSF Canada is one of the few satsangs blessed to have the padukas of Paramacharya as well as HH Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal.
More than fifty people participated. We had guests from USA and India too!

Jaya Jaya Sankara! This month’s soup kitchen was not only a noble kainkarayam but also turned out to be great fun with the active participation of so many volunteers. Today’s Soup Kitchen was sponsored by Prakash and Gowri.
Thanks to their generous financial and physical contributions and with the collective support from SriLatha, Sundaram, Karthik, Ganesh, Mythily, Ganeshan, Bhooma, Raghu, Mani and last but not the least Sayan as well as youth participation from Krishna and Akash, huge containers were filled with Soup, salad, Pasta and Fruit custard. While coming Monday’s Bikshavandanam will celebrate Acharya Devas today’s celebration was a clebration of Athithi devathas.

Mooka Panchasati Classes start!!

Mooka pancha shathi is a beautiful stotram with 500 slokams on Kanchi Kamakshi. It has 5 shatakams –
1. Aarya shatakam
2. Paadaaravinda shatakam
3. Stuti shatakam
4. Kataksha shatakam and
5. Mandasmitha shatakam
This stothram was Sri.Mahaperiyava’s all time favourite. He got it published through kamakoti koshastanam and recommended it to a lot of his devotees for iha para sowbhagyam. Since it is a stotram there is no restriction of time, place, eligibility etc. Anyone can read it anywhere, any time.

The 126th Jayanti of Paramacharya was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Siva Satyanarayana Temple, Mississauga on May 19, 2019.
Special features for this year’s celebration included:
- The procession of Paramacharyas’ padukas in a palanquin (pallakku) contributed by a devotee.
- The grand picture of Sri Kamakshi received with the blessings of His Holiness and after offering poojas at Sri Kamakshi Temple at Kanchipuram was opened for prayers.
- Beautiful new pictures of all our Acharyas.

Sri Lalitopakhyana is a part of the very ancient work – Brahmanda Purana. It details the Avatara and Lila of Parashakti Lalita Mahatripurasundari. The Parayana of this sacred text is considered to be more fruitful than even Saptashati. According to the Phalasruti, a single Parayana of this great text confers a merit, equal to a crore repetitions of Devi Mahatmyam.
द्वात्रिम्शिकाया अस्यास्तु सकृदावर्तनाद्पि । चण्डिकाकोरिपाठस्य सध्रुशम् फलमुद्धेत्
Bhagavan Hayagriva has instructed the Sadhakas to obtain limitless merit by chanting this Aakhyaana. Devotees of Sridevi, especially the Upasakas of Srividya, should necessarily chant this great hymn during the Navaratri and Pancha Parvas. Each chapter in this hymn confers individual benefits. But the collective effect is the attainment of Sridevi. The immense power of this hymn can only be felt and not described in words. We will consider ourselves blessed if even a single person finds this publication useful.
It is rare to find printed copies of this Upaakyaanam, more so in regional languages.
With prayers to Sri Kamakshi, we begin to upload the text of the publication gradually over a period of time in our
Links and Resources- Documents section. For the benefit of the readers, we will be publishing a close enough version of the English translation also.
