Kamakshi Kamakoti Sankara Foundation of Canada (KKSF- Canada) is a federally incorporated Non-Profit Organisation. We are a Registered Charity with the Canadian Revenue Agency (Registration # 70298 6092 RR0001) and are able to issue tax receipts for donations received from individuals and corporations.
We
primarily derive our inspiration from Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Moolamnya Sarvagna Peetam, (www.kamakoti.org) a religious institution set up by Sri Adi Shankara in 482 B.C.E and head- quartered in Kanchipuram, a city in Tamilnadu, India. This Peetam has the distinction of an unbroken line of 70 Acharyas over a period of almost 2000 years. The Acharyas have always taken measures for the protection of the values and practices of the ancient Sanatana Dharma (henceforth referred to as Hindu Religion/ Hinduism) and Veda Dharma, through propagating the Advaita discipline, and alleviating the sufferings of thefrom indivi people and ensuring peace, harmony and tolerance. We are blessed to have the guidance of this Peetam in all our religious activities.

doctrines, observances and culture associated with that faith; and - To undertake activities ancillary and incidental to the attainment of the above- |
mentioned charitable purpose.”
We do not however place any restrictions based on religion or nationality for membership or in addressing its our charitable activities as long as they are consistent with our primary objective.
